Creating Locations and Floors
Click on the “Locations” tab, to go to the locations page.
Click on the plus button on the bottom right hand side.
Type in a name for the newly created location.
Type in the address/coordinates of the newly created location. Alternatively, the map will automatically center to your current GPS location.
Drag the map until the marker is in the desired location. When finished, press the “Update Location”.
Creating Floors
Click on the “Locations” tab, to go to the locations page.
Press on the card of the desired location.
Click on the plus button on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
Type in the name of the newly created floor. When press on “Update Floor Name”.
You should now be able to see the newly created floor on the locations detail page.
Uploading Floorplan images
Click on the “Locations” tab on the left hand side of the screen.
Click on the desired location to make changes to.
Click on the “Edit Floor” button on the lower right hand side.
Click on “Edit Floorplan Image”.
- Click on the “Choose File” button, on the upper left-hand side. A file explorer will appear, allowing you to select a file your device/computer.
Note: If you have a floor plan image file, make sure that the image is cropped and does not have extra white space around the image. On how to do this, see Cropping an Image.
To resize the image, drag either the bottom left or upper right hand corner of the image.
To drag the image around the map, hold left click on the center of the image.
To see the map behind the image, drag the opacity slider to the desired setting.
To finish, click on the “Save Image” button at the bottom right hand side.
When Done press "Update Floor name" to update the server with the updates
